Without a blow off valve, the Can-Am Maverick R has no where to vent that built up boost pressure between shifts. This ultimately goes back to the turbocharger inlet causing compressor surge and slowing the turbo down from spooling up again. The Agency Power blow off valve silicone hose has a port to attach a 1 inch diameter blow off valve too to help relieve pressure. The silicone hose is designed to not expand or collapse compared to stock rubber hoses or even crack like plastic hoses. These properties make them more reliable over stock. By adding one of these BOV port silicone hoses, you will get quicker throttle response and a much happier turbocharger. Each hose is designed to be a direct OEM replacement and provided you with a cleaner, more stand out engine compartment with its fit and finish. The hose is designed to work with many different universal blow off valves as long as it has a 1 inch diameter flange.
