We took that material and combined it with our superior design engineering to make the strongest stud possible. That means minimal narrowing at the neck and an adjustable stud. Heavy-Duty 4340 Ball Joint: SuperATV spared no expense while engineering our ball joints. Our shear tests prove that our unique blend of a 4340 VAR steel stud, hardened to just the right Rockwell, and then coated with black oxide gives you a more desirable combination than your standard steel material. With a PSI breaking point of nearly double OEM and other aftermarket ball joints, the ball joints will last a long time.
