  • Secondary will work on any Can Am Maverick X3 2018-22 120HP, 2023+ X3 120HP, 2017 154HP, 2018-21 172HP, or 2020+ 195/200HP models and any 2020+ Defender HD10, 2022+ Defender HD9, 2019+ Maverick Sport, or 2021+ Commander 1000R models with the torsional secondary clutch
  • Secondaries are built to order with a 1-3 day lead time
  • Includes: OEM secondary clutch sheaves, AA adjustable helix, AA HD rollers, helix adjustment tool & setup guideline. We will highlight the helix setup that we used on your setup guide.
  • Secondary clutch will come assembled if you let us know your tire size and modifications. Not every vehicle is the same, so even if having us professionally set the clutch up, some adjustment may be needed. Always make sure to check peak RPM after installation.
  • From trail rigs to high horsepower setups, this is the clutch setup we run on our shop vehicles.
  • With our clutches you'll notice better power transfer (better acceleration) and lower belt temps than your OEM clutch or other aftermarket clutches.
  • Our custom cut fully adjustable helix in this kit is a game changer! We have been using this quick click secondary design on many other vehicles since 2008, and have now adapted to the Can Am platform. This helix is much better for acceleration as it allows RPM to ramp up quicker out of the gate, then load the motor hard up top for wicked acceleration. The best part about this helix is the ability to adjust your spring tension. This easily allows you to dial in RPM with the secondary clutch which is much easier than adjusting the primary clutch.   • Choose between two helix styles:
    • Performance Helix 1053: This is a steeper angle vs. our high load which keeps RPM closer to stock, but shifts a bit faster for better wheel speed/acceleration. This will normally keep overall RPM's +/- 200 of OEM for most models listed. If looking for a simple stock replacement clutch to run with the OEM primary, this helix angle will work well for all X3, Commander, Maverick Sport & Defender models.
      • 2 Seat X3 models: Works best with 28-33" tires or 28-31" paddles.
      • 4 Seat X3 Models: Works best with 28-31" lighter tires or 28-29" paddles
      • Commander & Maverick Sport: This helix works the best on these models up to 33" tire
      • Defender: We suggest our high load helix for Defender models
    • High Load Helix 1050: A less aggressive angle than the 1053 helix with good acceleration gains/power transfer over the OEM helix. Designed for a heavier vehicles, 4 seat models that are heavier than stock, larger/heavy tires, heavy sand load, and crawling type riding. Works excellent for for 120-230+ crank horsepower 2 seat models and 120-260+ crank horsepower 4 seat models. This helix angle will increase your peak RPM by 300-400 RPM over stock, so make sure you need this much RPM increase, or can adjust your primary clutch arms to compensate if needed.
      • 2 Seat X3 models: Works best for 34" or larger/heavier tires, and paddles 31-35"
      • 4 Seat X3 Models: Works best for 32-35" tires and paddles 30-35"
      • Commander & Maverick Sport: Works best with 34" or larger tires
      • Defender: Works best with all Defender models stock or tuned with any size tire 29" to 35"
      • Helix Choice: Keep in mind the helix is controlling how fast the secondary clutch shifts. A lighter, more powerful vehicle can shift faster with the Performance Helix without slowing down/bogging the engine. A heavier vehicle/heavier tire setup benefits from the High Load helix as it slows the shift down vs. the performance helix, so RPM will ramp up faster and have a higher peak RPM. Neither helix is faster for everyone, but the right helix choice will make your vehicle perform the best. The shift rate is somewhat adjustable by the secondary spring adjustment, but you still want to choose a helix that is right for your setup.   • Cooler running belt temps from a more efficient power transfer which results in longer belt and clutch life. With this kit and our Stryker belts (GBoost belt) we have ran thousands of hard miles in the dunes & trails at higher horsepower with ZERO belt failures.
  • Most will see acceleration gains and better power transfer to the rear wheels over replacing with OEM clutch
