This clutch kit is engineered for maximum fuel mileage and quiet / low rpm operation. Kit reduces RPM, needs less throttle for cruising, and makes cab quieter than stock. Testing on an SOHC Ranger 1000 showed a 26% increase in fuel mileage! Trail riding and crusings characteristics are very mellow mannered and smooth. This clutch kit is amazing for rock crawling, hunting, crusings around, ice fishing, ranch work, trail riding, road riding, plowing snow, running tracks and more!
This clutch kit is NOT a performance clutch kit. Maxing out the clutches raises engine RPM, allowing for top speed if desired. The clutch weights are made of high carbon steel with black diamond coating, rendering them corrosion-free. Longevity of these weights is second to none! The weights have replaceable multi layer friction free bushings that last for thousands of miles without maintenance. The spring is made from top-quality steel, powder-coated for durability, and all components are designed and manufactured in the USA!
