UTV Cameras

Rear Camera and Front Camera Systems Built for the Trail

Backing a UTV out of a wash or off a trailer is a guessing game. A rear camera fixes that. Our UTV cameras give you a clear view of what is behind the machine on a monitor, a dash-mounted screen, or a rear-view mirror with a built-in display, so you can see the rock, the stump, or the truck bumper before you touch it. Many of the camera kits we carry are designed for a specific model with plug and play wiring, while universal kits pair to a Garmin Tread display or feed a stereo source unit with a camera input. Infrared technology on select cameras delivers superior nighttime vision for backing down tight trails after dark, and waterproof housings with wide-angle lenses handle wet crossings and dirt. Add a front camera if you ride narrow trails, and you have front and rear coverage from the rock ledge under your hood to the trailer hitch behind your bumper. We stock camera kits, monitors, relocation kits, and extended-view mounts from BRP Can-Am, Kawasaki, Polaris, Garmin, Kemimoto, UTV Stereo, DRT Motorsports, Razorback Offroad, and Boss Audio. Fitment covers Polaris RZR, Ranger, and Xpedition, Can-Am Maverick X3, Kawasaki Teryx KRX and Ridge, and more. On the security side, we carry Can-Am D.E.S.S. keys, anti-theft hardware kits for light bars, and lockable cargo boxes that keep gear out of reach at the trailhead. Keep in mind that some rear camera kits are sold without a monitor, so check what is included before you buy.

FAQ

Do I need a monitor to install a UTV backup camera?

It depends on the camera system. Some kits include a screen or a rear view mirror with a built-in monitor, while others are sold as a camera and wire kit that adds a rear feed to a dash display or stereo head unit you already have.

Are wired or wireless UTV cameras better?

A wired rear camera gives you a steady signal and works well on model-specific plug and play kits. A wireless backup camera is easier to install and can move between your UTV, trailer, or truck, but it needs a compatible display like a Garmin Tread to work.

Will a rear camera work at night?

Cameras equipped with infrared technology will show you the trail behind you with little ambient light. Not every camera has it, so look for night vision in the product specs if you ride after dark.

How do UTV camera mounts attach to the machine?

Mounts vary by kit. Model-specific kits often use a bracket that bolts to factory holes, universal cameras use a standard foot mount bracket or a license plate bracket, and roll cage mounts clamp around standard roll cage tubing. Relocation and extension mounts are also available for machines with a spare tire or cargo box blocking the stock camera.

Which UTV models do you carry camera kits for?

We carry front and rear camera kits, mounts, and monitors for Polaris RZR and Ranger, Can-Am Maverick X3 and Defender, and Kawasaki Teryx KRX and Ridge, along with universal cameras that fit any UTV with a compatible display. Use the vehicle filter to find the kits that fit your year and model.

What security products do you sell for UTVs?

Beyond cameras, we stock Can-Am D.E.S.S. keys, anti-theft security bolt kits for light bars and pods, and lockable cargo boxes. These are easy ways to protect the money you have put into your build when the machine is parked at a trailhead, a campsite, or on the trailer.

Are UTV cameras hard to install?

Most model-specific kits are plug and play and can be installed at home with basic hand tools in an afternoon. Universal kits take a bit more time to route the wire and find a clean mounting spot, and mirror-style monitors usually replace the stock mirror in a few minutes. Our team can recommend the right kit if you have questions about fitment.
