Trailing Arm Guards and A-Arm Guards Built for Rough Trails
Your A-arms and trailing arms take the first hit on every rock ledge, rut, and root you drive over. Stock arms leave the CV boots and the underside of the arm exposed, and one bad line can cost you a boot, a bent arm, or a long walk back to the truck. This collection is arm protection only. If you are shopping for replacement trailing arms or A-arms themselves, those live in our suspension collections. What you will find here are bolt-on guards that wrap the arm and take the abuse so the factory part underneath does not have to.
We carry arm guards in a few different builds. Factory UTV UHMW trailing arm guards and A-arm guards are molded from 3/8 inch ultra high molecular weight plastic that slides over rock instead of catching on it. Trail Armor guards use 1/2 inch polymer, the same material as their skid plates, with three-sided coverage on the front, rear, and bottom of the arm. SuperATV and Pro Armor build aluminum guards with a UHMW strip along the bottom for the same slick contact surface with a metal shell. Most sets are sold as a pair and ship with the mounting hardware you need. Fitment covers Polaris RZR models like the RZR XP 1000, XP Turbo, Pro XP, and Pro R, plus Can-Am Maverick X3 and Maverick R, Kawasaki KRX 1000, Honda Talon, and Yamaha YXZ. We keep this category deep in stock inventory so the right part for your machine is usually on the shelf and ready to go.

FAQ
What is the difference between A-arm guards and trailing arm guards?
A-arm guards cover the front control arms on your UTV. Trailing arm guards cover the rear arms that run from the chassis back to the hub. Many brands sell them separately, so check the listing to see if you are getting a front set, a rear set, or both.
Are UHMW trailing arm guards better than aluminum?
UHMW is a dense plastic that slides over rock and absorbs impacts without denting, which is why Factory UTV and Trail Armor build their guards from it. Aluminum guards from SuperATV and Pro Armor add a rigid shell and use a UHMW strip on the bottom for the same slick surface. Both protect your trailing arms well, so the choice comes down to weight, looks, and the terrain you ride most.
Do arm guards fit over stock trailing arms?
Most guards in this collection are shaped to follow the contours of factory trailing arms and A-arms. Some special editions and aftermarket arms change the shape enough that a guard will not sit correctly, so read the fitment notes and the ALSO FITS chart on the product page before you buy.
How do I get guaranteed fitment for my machine?
Every listing shows the years and models it fits, and many include a fitment guide in the photos. If you have fitment questions about a modified rig, call us before you order. Our techs ride these machines and can give you a straight answer on what will bolt up.
Does Factory UTV make guards for the Polaris RZR XP?
Yes. Factory UTV builds 3/8 inch UHMW A-arm guards and trailing arm guards for Polaris RZR models like the XP Turbo S and Pro XP, and their Ultimate Package for the RZR XP 1000 and XP Turbo bundles a skid plate, rock sliders, and both arm guard sets for full underbody coverage.
Should I run arm guards with skid plates?
Skid plates protect the belly of the machine, and arm guards protect the suspension arms that hang below it. Riders who hit rocks regularly usually run both, since a plate alone leaves the arms and CV boots open to damage.
How fast do most items ship?
Most items ship the same day from our warehouse, and transit usually runs 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are. A few items drop ship directly from the manufacturer. Custom colors from some brands are special order and non-returnable, and they are not matched to OEM paint, so call us if you have questions before ordering a colored set.
