Simply setup your weights according to our setup chart, then install the weights \u0026amp; Spring. Otherwise we have the +$25 option to have us assemble the primary clutch for you, as long as you let us know what engine modifications and tire size\/type.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur S2 recoil clutch kits pack a huge punch! No matter the terrain, they hit hard and just keep pulling for days. On the trail or at the race you'll notice wicked acceleration and instant clutch response when getting back into the throttle after hammering that corner. In the dunes you'll see the same benefits, but also have much less bogging when climbing that big dune. The machine will hold RPM so you can get where you need to go, and get there faster! Going mudding? Our mud setup will help turn those tires through the thick and deep with much better RPM and wheel speed that's key to climbing out of that hole. They have a custom AA profile, the BEST coating on the market(nitrocarburizing) which has increased wear resistance, improved fatigue strength, and added surface lubricity. Our custom cut helix will give you better power to the wheels on 2017-18 models because of the slightly steeper angle. All models will see a more consistent RPM sweep. Factory helixes start off steep, then go shallower on the top end. For turbo machines, this is completely backwards. We run a straight angle as changing the load on a heavy machine in the middle of a shift can cause some issues. Basically, 2016 helixes were too steep and therefor had belt issues, 2017 helixes went much shallower and the performance to the wheels suffers. We found just the right angle to make everything happy with great belt life and great performance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTorsion Anti-Chatter Kit:\u003c\/strong\u003e Upgrades to a complete secondary converted to a Torsion style spring and helix. The main benefit is better belt grip with the Torsion spring that gains rate as it shifts. You'll also notice smoother engagement which is excellent for those crawling. Secondary bushing comes peened over to prevent walking out. With only brake boosting, the manifold pressure in the plenum is around 7-8 PSI. With launch control, we see 14-17 PSI depending on RPM at launch and other factors. This is a huge swing and is building 7-10 extra PSI to start, giving you much faster turbo spool and acceleration. When looking at boost numbers on your PV3 gauge, you'll see the number go from a negative to a positive pressure. Launch RPM is programmed by us, but can also be changed via Windows computer and Dyno Jet C3 software by the end user. Our standard clutch kit comes with a blue\/yellow spring with 1800-2000 RPM stall. Our solid blue spring is our high stall spring can be purchased and has a stall of 2300-2500 RPM. This spring requires 2 magnets added to each AA clutch arm on an already well clutched vehicle. If your weights are already fully loaded, purchasing heavier weights may be necessary. We also have other spring options for more of a medium engagement RPM. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKnowing what launch RPM to choose: Launch control should always be used with caution and set up properly for your clutch engagement. Clutch engagement can be tested by having the vehicle in high range, then slowly pressing the gas pedal down while looking at RPM. The RPM when the vehicle starts to move is your engagement RPM. Test on flat ground a few times to make sure you get consistent results. We are looking for launch control to be right at engagement RPM. It's best to check this before purchasing the LCM, if possible. Once you receive the module, we suggest double checking your engagement RPM\/launch RPM is correct by using launch control without holding the brake. The vehicle should just barely want to move if set up properly. If the vehicle is lurching and really trying to move, you need to get a higher stall spring, a fresh clutch spring, or lower launch RPM. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo engage launch control, fire the vehicle up and make sure the vehicle is at an idle (module will not engage launch mode if vehicle is over 1500 RPM). Most will hold the brake at the same time to keep vehicle from creeping forward. We run a straight angle as changing the load on a heavy machine in the middle of a shift can cause some issues. Basically, 2016 helixes were too steep and therefor had belt issues, 2017 helixes went MUCH shallower and the performance to the wheels suffers.
